How does our powdered product work against Legionella?
Cleanpill LegioPowder is a water-soluble product and compatible with most raw materials used for its treatment. Therefore, it can be used as a biocide in all water systems that require Legionella disinfection. It shows good compatibility with anionic and non-ionic compounds. It does not promote foaming.
As a general rule, a dose of the following is recommended:
• 5 grams per 1,000 liters of the total circuit volume as a maintenance dose.
• A dose of 40 grams over the total volume of the circuit as a shock when detecting the presence of Legionella in the circuit.
Carry out the laboratory test according to Standard UNE-EN 13623. Chemical antiseptics and disinfectants. Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of the bactericidal activity against Legionella pneumophila of chemical disinfectants for aqueous systems during 60 minutes at 30ºC temperature.
