CleanPill® disinfectant tablets dissolve in water to create a fast-acting disinfectant solution that works on bacteria, viruses, and fungi present on the skin of the udders.
Before its application, it is necessary to perform a preliminary cleaning of the area. The tablets must be handled with completely clean and dry hands to avoid contamination.
Once the solution is prepared, it is recommended to wait approximately 5 minutes before its application. Subsequently, the animal’s teats must be immersed in the disinfectant solution to ensure that their entire length is properly covered.
This procedure allows ensuring a proper disinfection of the mammary glands during the milking process.

Dosage for udder disinfection before and after milking
To obtain effective disinfection, it is important to prepare the solution with the appropriate concentration according to the time of application.
Before milking
Disolver 1 pastilla por cada 10 litros de agua, obteniendo una solución con aproximadamente 150 ppm de cloro disponible.
In case of a germ outbreak or high risk of infection, a more concentrated solution can be prepared by dissolving 1 tablet in 1 liter of water, reaching approximately 1500 ppm of available chlorine.
Before applying the product, it is recommended to completely remove traces of organic matter and carefully wash the udders with the disinfectant solution. Afterwards, they should be properly dried.
After the milking
Dissolve 1 tablet per liter of water, obtaining a solution with approximately 1500 ppm of available chlorine.
In situations of greater health risk, the concentration can be increased by dissolving 2 tablets per liter of water, reaching approximately 3000 ppm of free chlorine.
Immediately after milking, it is recommended to wash the animal’s teats with the disinfectant solution to protect the udder against possible contaminations.
